Start your morning by getting up 30-60 minutes earlier as you normally would get up. Start the day with a positive outlook on what you want to be and become. Be present.
You can adjust the timing (10 minutes each, or 20/5/5/10/10/5, even 1 min. each works) and you can skip a few practises – but start to work with yourself on a positive focus as the first thing in the morning before doing anything else.
See it as an experiment and stick with it for one week to see the outcome!
Background & Effect:
Our outer world is a reflection of our inner world. To change the circumstances that we don’t like we need to change our internal focus and beliefs first. The morning exercise gives you an excellent turnaround opportunity – because changing the outer world takes time, but changing the inner world just a minute!
If you hit the snooze button on your clock every morning because you don’t want to get up – how do you think you will get the energy to do all the things you really want?
Taking time for the miracle morning is like going consciously in the captain’s position of our lifeship and taking the steering wheel, instead of stumbling on deck and loosing ourselves in the things that come towards us. It is moving back into deciding who we really really want to be: physically, financially, mentally, emotionally. If we can start the day in a positive, energetic and clear way, the message we’re sending to the universe is: Yes, I want an extraordinary life.
Hal Elrod developed this exercise when he was broke literally at all levels of his life, after having an insight on the quote of Jim Rohn, “Success is something you attract by the person you become”. He started to inquire on the behavior of successful people and experimented in combining them into one morning exercise. Today, he is one of the shooting stars of the motivational scene, teaching this method to thousands of people.
Background and Effect
We thus create a common, safe and non-judgmental energy field in which everybody can open their heart and go through their fears. By showing us our weaknesses, we can show and share our grief. We can reconcile ourselves with our brothers and sisters. In the light of unconditional acceptance and love all abuse and all the blame dissolves. This brings old and young, blacks and whites, men and women, rich and poor, educated and uneducated together in an atmosphere of love, gratitude and joy. It is a place of equality and focus on God. A safe, simple, and easily accessible place. A place of forgiveness. To maintain this place everybody contributes what is easy for them: one is to take care of cleaning the rooms, somebody else brings in some of their money, a third one is singing or making music. In this place it should be taught and demonstrated how to take responsibility for ones own thoughts and feelings. How to communicate honesty without attacking others, and how to solve conflicts peacefully. The leader of the group should be changed after one year so that this person doesn’t identify too much with his/her role. Such a space is open to all people who follow the simple rules: no judgments, don’t make yourself important, don’t talk about your believes in a pompous ceremony. All fighting for self-respect, recognition and money are to be disregarding. The most important rule is to live the spirit of love and equality. Everybody must receive approval without condition. Everyone can feel comfortable and live out their talents. Virtually in every religious community there are people that have the desire for such a loving community. When the time is right, you will find a group or start one.
