Sit with Your Enemy

This exercise is a guided meditation.

Find a place to relax.

Be very honest with yourself, this exercise is just for you.

Choose a person in your life that you don‘t like and that is provoking a strong emotion in you, like anger or irritation.

Now imagine you go to a nice restaurant where a table is already prepared. Imagine your enemy is already sitting at this table, looking at you.
Look at your enemy.
Find the specific emotion that you don’t like. You can even exaggerate this emotion.
I.e. “I am angry at you because you were passing over my emotions like a catarpillar.”

Now look back at your life if you can find a situation in which you did the same to yourself or someone else.
F.e. “I was walking over my emotions without listening to them”, “Yesterday I just went straight for what I wanted without considering my partner’s opinion and feelings.”

To end this exercise, thank the person and imagine to leave the restaurant.

Background:

Best is to do this exercise when you have a fresh emotion for someone. By doing this, after a few times you will notice that often :

  • what you see is also what you are
  • the person is a mirror

But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you. (Jesus Christ, Mat 5:44)

What Jesus ultimately means is not only to forgive our enemies – but to see in every enemy ourself. He wants us to radically see and understand. Thats why he is asking us for forgiveness.

Ultimately you are not this emotion towards your enemy. What you really are can embrace everything. People and experiences in life can be seen as a way to learn about yourself.

Altar

Burn Yourself On The Altar

AltarImagine a sacred, strong fire on an altar. Now throw everything you believe it’s you in this fire: your possessions, your knowledge, your status, your ideas, your beliefs – until you can’t find anything more to burn. Imagine your body on that altar.

Background:

This exercise was the final awakening point for Samarpan – he finally realized during this visualization, that there isn’t anybody to burn.

Imagine what it would be like to leave everything in your current life behind. Imagine how it would be to go to the airport right now and get on the first available aircraft flying to your favorite country. Imagine, not to have money or clothes with you. Organize the bare necessities in your head: housing, banking, letter to your partner. Imagine how you can do everything you want after landing in the foreign country: sleep on the beach, ask a traveler for a job or money, work a little bit for a night’s lodging in a hostel. Imagine to completely trust in  God and to your inner strength that will guide you from moment to moment into whatever new will come. Imagine how strong you’ll get through the begging and the work you need to survive in your new home. Imagine how brave, fearless, curious and determined you will be by the departure into the unknown. Imagine that you will never tell anyone about your past. Lose yourself completely in this new situation. Think again if you don’t actually want to buy a ticket, even if it is only for a short break.

Background and Effect:
By letting go of your past and your current mental bonds confidence grows in you, that you can do everything and anything you want. You realize that you are free altogether and will be able to let go of a lot of old things.

Timeline

Stand calm and upright. Open your heart and think of a beautiful moment in your life. Visualize it on the ground in front of you and behind you a lifeline. Imagine that your past is behind you, and your future in front of you. Look back at the past, and remember some moments in it – situations from childhood to adolescence, your education, perhaps marriage or child birth. Imagine that you are now exactly in the present and turn around to the future. Fix a point in your future and be designated, in how many months or years it will be. Imagine a situation how it is going to be like. Imagine this situation as good as you can. Where are you? What does it look like there? what do you do and how you feel?

Background and Effect:
Our life is created by our minds. Either by leaving the field to our subconscious belief systems, or even by creating our future. Every thought and every idea tends to realize itself. Especially those we charge by the high vibrations of love and gratitude.

Solar storm

The irrepressible energy of a glowing red sun flows through you. She wanders around you and into your body. You see how mighty Magma flags fly off and flow warmly towards you. Their cosmic winds fuel your body and all the energy fields, heal yourself within a few minutes and recharge everything with energy.

Background and Effect:
This exercise is one of the strongest ever. The sun is a direct symbol of the Divine Spirit that flows through us and strengthens and carries us immediately when we open ourselves to it. You will learn more and more that you have the power to heal in every second of your life, be happy and full of energy. It works better, the stronger your faith, the purer your body and the more experienced in moving energy you are.

Changing perspectives in the House (Ulmer-Janes)

Imagine you own a house that stands in a beautiful landscape. The house has four large windows in every direction. In one direction you see a beautiful lake, in the other a meadow, a forest in the third and the fourth displays a street and a city.
Every time you have a problem, return mentally to that house and change your perspective – if, for example, the reflecting sun of the lake is blinding you, take a few steps to the next window that leads into the forest. When the view onto the lawn is too monotonous enjoy the night view of the shining city lights. Go mentally from one window to another and watch what’s going on inside of yourself due to this change of perspective.

Background and Effect:
The imaginary change of perspective helps us to recognize that every situation, even a problematic one, can be seen differently by changing perspective. What ultimately counts is not what we experience, but how we assess what we experience.

Create love light around you

Intensely imagine a beautiful situation from your life. Imagine how a bright lights spread around you. It may consist of various colors. In this  field of light there can be soft music, scents, symbols or other appearances of your choice. This field is filled with love, joy and gratitude. It has strong healing powers. You can expand the boundaries of this to other people and far away places.

Background & Impact:

Thoughts and emotions are vibrations that have a direct impact on us and our environment.

Life creation

Before going to sleep imagine how you float into space, and suddenly you ‘re currently in the void.
You see the world in front of you, as it turns blue.
Create the life of a person with all of its stations. Imagine where and when he is born, what he looks like, what he experiences and where he goes. Think about every major life-situation, why it looks this way or another, what experience is to be made through it.

Background & Impact
The exercise is a direct preparation for the awakening – you realize through the process of intellectual work that you alone are responsible for every choice in your life.

Visualize diseases

If you plagued by a disease, lie down, relax and energize yourself and contact the affected part of the body. Request an internal picture of the disease. You will possibly see dark clumps, burnt electrical wires, holes, large rocks, animals or even natural landscapes. Don’t think about these images just watch them. Let them tell a story in your mind. Don’t fear wild scenes, but try to watch as interested as possible what happens.

If you already have the feeling to have understood the meaning of your illness, and say an unconditional “YES!” to the healing (perhaps during a 2nd meditation) – then thank for the history and experience and imagine the affected body part changing for the better. Let it turn into something smooth in front of your mind’s eye, full of beautiful colors and surrounded by light and soft music. Look at how beautifully it is changing and ready to take over its function again without reservation. Talk to it and thank it that it will serve you again. Repeat this meditation as often as possible.

Background & Impact:
In the alpha state, we can contact our higher self through pictures and understand the meaning and the learning experience of the disease through occurring symbols. It is important to not brush them off as meaningless and  wanting to convert them immediately, but to first understand why we have gained them. Mostly the affected organ provides very good information: Is it the skin, it is about boundaries; the heart means love-ability, and allergies suggest aggression, the breathing relates to freedom, headaches to stressed thinking and is it a bladder disease it means you should release an old topic, etc. (more literature by Rüdiger Dahlke and Louise Hay). In history, however, our inner selves gives us more accurate information through personal symbols. Either we understand the information directly, or we can recognize it by the technique of direct interpretation of dreams.
Only when we have understood the message and are ready for a new belief system, we can thank ourselves and offer a new image for the cure.

Relations in the field (G. Wögerbauer)

Balance yourself, close your eyes and imagine, to sit on a large, beautiful flower field. Around you in the grass there are concentric circles at different distances  – you’re in the middle.
Watch how a number of people known to you in real life take a seat  around you – at about that distance, they have have to you in your life. Look at the people who sit directly next to you, and who takes places further out. Try not to Involve yourself too much in the exercise, but try to see who’s coming – let the events take place with as little of your consent as possible.Don’t worry, even if you  unsympathetic people approach too. Watch rather than to control. Later you can look for those people that have a permanent place in your heart – and that you’d always like feel close to you.
You can even start a conversation with these people and that can provide you with information about the type of relationship or on current issues.
Finish the exercise by looking affectionately at everybody.

Background & Impact
Through this exercise, your heart can easily show you who is really close to you, and whom you should probably keep at a distance more. “The condition for living in a relationship is to manage to be in relationship to oneself and to feel your own heart clearly ”
